DickersonBakker is a leading fundraising solutions provider for non-profit organizations. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team in the Fundraising Solutions division. The Account Manager exhibits smart thinking that reflects client objectives, has an aptitude for written and verbal communications, attention to detail, and the ability to interface with other departments for the benefit of the client.
Duties/Responsibilities: Account Management
Executes the day-to-day responsibilities associated with a client’s direct response fundraising program
Demonstrates a solid knowledge of Direct Mail, Digital, Data, and general fundraising practices as well as knowledge of the client’s programs
Participates in annual planning, budget, and project meetings for assigned clients
Assists Account Director in preparation of annual and seasonal marketing plans, results reviews, QBR’s, and other client presentations
In coordination with Project Manager, provides Account Director with documentation for pricing worksheets and billing
Builds and maintains relationships with clients to understand client goals and objectives
Performs day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork including client requests, meeting notes, drafting of creative briefs for review by Account Director, etc.
Oversees direct response fundraising projects from launch through completion to ensure accurate and timely delivery of a defined scope of work
Keeps Account Director up-to-date on projects, solicits input, and identifies opportunities for business improvement
Creative Development
Serves as point of contact for providing files to client for review and approval.
Communicates all changes to applicable parties
Approves key client creative prior to initial client review
Oversees the review and approval of initial copy and creative concepts print and/or digital proofs, laser sign-offs and live digital test sends, releasing art to production and handling inspection and distribution of client samples
Data & Analytics
Collaborates with Project Management team to create and update data processing instructions for direct mail projects; maintains all documents and data files for each client’s program
Interprets data and partners with Project Management team to create mail matrices for direct mail projects, ensuring all key team members have access to and clarity of campaign specifics
Performs quality control measures including, but not limited to: data counts and dumps, personalization and insertion sign-offs. Communicates all changes to applicable parties
Assists Account Director with regular campaign analysis and reporting duties in collaboration with Data & Analytics team.
Oversees the creation of presentation materials for client QBR’s and other milestone reporting

Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of direct response marketing and/or fundraising
Exemplary attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple projects; a resourceful self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on projects from concept to completion
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and basic understanding of analytics
Experience with Asana and Power BI highly desirable
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
2-3+ years of direct response marketing and/or fundraising experience
2-3+ years of account management experience in an advertising agency, direct marketing agency, digital marketing agency, or direct response fundraising agency
Proven track record of building trust-based, consultative client relationships
Formal or informal project management experience a plus
Agency experience preferred, startup experience a plus
Location: Remote (within continental U.S.), candidates living in Eastern and Central time zones highly desirable. Option to work out of either of our Dallas or Raleigh offices if desired.
